AZ National Parks Outing - Day Trip
Come join us for our first AZ National Parks outing. We are going to get our feet wet instead of jumping in! Our first outing to check off our list will be to the Casa Grande Ruins National Monument in Coolidge, AZ on Sept. 11. We will meet at the park at 9:00 sharp so we can see everything and beat the heat. They have a very nice interpretive center and gift shop.

3rd Annual Farm Girl Weekend
Camping at my little farm. Come and park! No fees, just fun. Make things on Sat afternoon, happy hour bingo Sat night, outdoor movie Sat. night, flea marketing Sunday morning. This is a do what you want wknd. Hang out in the treehouse, sit by the pond with a book, join the sisters down at the barn for crafting, take a nap, cook something... Dinner Friday night and lunch on Sat is on me, bring something for Sat night. Rick is cooking up those farm fresh eggs all weekend. Sister fun. PS. Bring a wrapped sister gift for happy hour button bingo!

4th annual Cowgirl Finishing School
Dust off your boots and put on you Chaps! This will be our next to the last "Cowgirl Finishing School" The agenda features cowboy poetry, shopping, food, trick roping,Trading Post to see your wares and crafts,campfires and a special "Cowgirl Cupping" ( can you figure that one out?) We will also have our annual Lonesome Dove "Chap-peral " Ball. Need to get up some kind for "Chaps" for this one See you at the Ranch!

Fifth Annual Kernville Event
Come join us for the Fifth Annual Kernville Event. Kernville, Ca is located in the Southern Sierra Nevada and is the southernmost river in the Sierras. We have almost 40 campsites blocked out at Camp James Campground, a beautiful campground located right on the Kern River. They officially don’t take reservations until February 1st, but if there happens to be someone in the office when you call, they will accept early reservations for this trip only. Hoedown in the Blue Ridge
Leaf peeping, dutch oven cooking, Appalachian crafts, and mountain music in the Blue Ridge Mountains are calling sisters to come and camp at Daddy Rabbit's.
The fall leaves will be at or near peak so it will be a gorgeous place to spend a weekend. Scenic Mabry Mill is just a short drive down the parkway, and the very small, cute village of Meadows of Dan is about 10 minutes away. Nancy's Candy Factory is located there and definitely a must to visit. There is also an Appalachian Craft store in Meadows of Dan selling locally made items

Sisters at the Seashore
Howdy Sisters! We're going to back to Savannah! We have been asked and asked by the manager of the campground on Tybee Island to 'please come back,' so we going to Savannah/Tybee Island Georgia one more time! Woo Hoo! Such a wonderful place--the history, the beach, the food, and a great campground to boot! We'll have an opening and closing party and a few goodies--and a lot of ways to spend your time, but you will be on Tybee Time this time and we will not have a lot of 'planned' activities--we want time to visit, explore, and be lazy! One thing we will do is have a trailer tour for a couple of hours to benefit a local charity. Woody--the campground manager says he gets at least a request or two each week about us doing a tour. The last one we did raised $3000 and was a lot of fun!
This is an official Sisters trip--which means Sisters in good standing only (dues paid), no men, no pets please.

2011 National Cornbread Festival
Because of the size of the campsite, the event will be limited to 20 trailers, with a maximum of 17' (that includes the tongue and the bumper). Two sisters who attended 2010 with longer trailers will be "grandfathered in", and special parking will be provided for them. We will have an "open house" for two hours on Saturday with external viewing only. This event is non-profit so your trip can be written off your income tax, to the extent the law allows....in 2011 we will have a large canopy/tent for the sisters. Electric is provided...no sewer or water. Of course we will get into all events free, get to tour the Lodge Mfg Plant (the only cast iron mfg plant left in the USA) and some nice gifts. You also get to eat all of the cornbread items you want, for a small charge!!
