SOTF “GO” Sister trips are special women’s vacations organized by owners Maurrie & Becky. Several days long, these destination trips give you bang for the buck! The “GO” stands for “Get Outdoors,” “Great Outdoors” and “You GO, Sister!”
They take pride in organizing amazing trips for women of all walks of life & life experiences. SOTF GO Sister Trips hope to introduce women to new adventures in a natural setting, in small intimate groups and at a personal level. You do not need to be a member to sign up for these trips.
Below are examples of bucket list type Go Sister trips:
International Travel with Sister on the Fly– Where won’t we go?! We’ve gone together to Mexico, B.C., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Stay tuned for more international trips…
Cowgirl Cattle Drive/At a Western Working Ranch
The real cowgirl experience! Ride out to round up the cattle to get them back to town in time for the rodeo. Dust off your boots to get fresh dust on them.
Cowgirl College/Wyoming
Brush up on your riding skills on this adventure while helping with daily ranch chores like branding and horse husbandry.
Women’s Fly Fishing Trips /Usually Montana or Wyoming
Every summer we offer trips that put our guests in “hog heaven,” meaning we fly fish blue ribbon rivers out west that are revered for their abundance of healthy and eager trout just waiting to be caught.
Ladies Learn to Fly Fish /Montana
Learning to fly fish and really experiencing the thrill of luring and catching a fish with a fly is something so many women want to do. Time spent fishing a Montana river from the bank and from a drift boat will be the highlight of your summer.
Cowgirl Boot Camp/Wyoming
Learn to ride and experience a cowboy’s life as a cowgirl here. It’s a “bucket list” item many women have asked us to tackle. Learn all about “your” horse and how to treat it.
Rogue River Float & Fish/Oregon
This is an adventure that puts our guests on the famous Rogue River (where the movie Wild River was filmed and Zane Gray wrote books), revered for its abundance of healthy trout and steelhead and beautiful, heavily forested canyon in the Coastal Range ecoregion.
Couples on the Fly/Montana
SOTF breaks one of its rigid rules here, the “NO MEN” rule, on this trip. We invite you and your partner along… male, female, friend, family, fun person… to fly fish blue ribbon waters that are revered for their abundance of healthy, eager trout just waiting to be caught. Fall is a beautiful, less crowded and very productive time to fly fish.
Dog Mushing Adventure/Minnesota
Why not? This off-grid adventure is for those who want to actively participate in every aspect of their experience with the highlight of learning to run your own small team of sled dogs through miles and miles of beautiful trails in the remote wilderness of northern Minnesota.
