I finally did it. Upgraded my beloved 2023 16' Scamp to a class C. I am tired of towing. So, now my adorable Scuttle is for sale $25,000. I would love for a sister to get them -They are non-binary-. Then I would at least get to visit them at an occasional campout, or at least pictures on Facebook.
They are a doll. I have been living in them for over a year. No major problems that I did not cause myself. They are well broken in. I picked them up brand new in Baccus Minnesota and drove them back to Oregon. Since then we have been all over the west and southwest. You can see our adventures on Facebook. And you can see the boo boo I gave Scuttle. I have repaired it.
Scuttle the Scamp has lots of bells and whistles. AirMax fan, Aircon, wet bath, anti-sway tow-bar, electric tongue lift, awning. 2 propane tanks, second set of tail lights, TV/DVD player, heater, brand new in the box, canvas cover for storage, marine battery, tankless hot water heater, and a two burner stove.
There are two skinny bunks up front, and a large twin bed in back. The twin becomes a dinette, but I always left it as a bed. I will throw in a nice twin mattress if you would like. The cushions that come with are good enough for sitting, but not for sleeping.
It is 1200 lbs dry. I towed it easily with my Subaru Ascent. There is a tow hitch on the back, but don't load anything very heavy on it. I learned about that! It has been professionally cleaned, so unless you are deathly allergic, the fact that two cats lived there should not be a problem. They have never been smoked in unless you count the occasional campfire. We are currently in Everett WA.
As you know Scamps are hard to come by. Last I checked there was a huge wait list and they go for about $45,000 with all the upgrades. Make me an offer!
