RESILIENCE Patch

This patch was inspired by the unprecedented wildfires in Oregon, Washington and California during the Labor Day holiday and early fall of 2020.  Entire towns were completely lost and others experienced significant loss of property, homes and lives.

The fires burned across enormous areas from the mountains and forests all the way to the Pacific Ocean,  represented by the blue ribbon.

“Resilience”  is defined as “The capacity to recover from difficulties; toughness.”

This definition describes the people of the West as well as the spirit of Sisters who come together to overcome adversity.
